WARM-UP/COOL-DOWN:
All lanes in the main and recreational pools will open for warm-up at 2 p.m. Friday and at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Competition lanes will close ~10 minutes before each session’s first event and will open for ~15 minutes on Saturday after the 500 Free and on Sunday after the 400 IM. Non-competition lanes — 6 in the recreation pool all three days and 8 in the main pool Saturday and Sunday — will remain open during all sessions and for 15 minutes after each day’s final event

Location: Dorchester County Visitor Center, Cambridge, MD
On Saturday, May 11th, 2024, join us as we navigate the Choptank River, between the bridges from the the Talbot County side to the Sailwinds Park beach access point on the Dorchester County side. This 2.0 mile trip across the Choptank River and will be supported by paddle craft, motor craft and the US Coast Guard.

JMLS is a one-day event on Sunday, May 26, 2024 — 1-mile and 2-mile swims. The course is a 1-mile open water course, swam counterclockwise beginning at Lake Audubon Pool end.
Great Chesapeake 1 Mile Bay Challenge

Location: Libby's Coastal Kitchen, Stevensville, MD
The 1-Mile Chesapeake Bay Challenge Swim started in 1998 and consists of a triangular-shaped course starting and ending at the small sandy beach adjacent to the Bay Bridge Marina on the eastern shore immediately south of the Bay Bridges. The event is coincidental with the 4.4-Mile Great Chesapeake Bay Swim (GCBS); the two events start approximately the same time at the different ends of the Bay Bridges.
