Let's do the numbers: We have roughly 60 members on our team. We have 9 workouts a week --divided into 3 groups: Let's say 1/3 of the team swims at Early a.m., another 1/3 swim at Mid Morning, and another 1/3 are Evening swimmers. If the practice has 17-18 people, that's a really good representation of (almost) a third of the team. Okay. The early A.M. practice as well as the Mid Morning practice typically has that many people. That's great! The evening practice time has very low numbers right now. If you are looking to swim with a little more space around you OR looking for a bit more attention from the coach.... come to an evening workout.
There is a percentage of members who we haven't seen at the pool lately-- injury, illness, traveling, etc. Well, we miss you guys! We haven't forgotten about you! Come on back and start swimming again.. you'll be glad you did. Remember, this is a team thing.. and we are stronger with numbers. You count!!
