We had a very successful home meet yesterday! Twenty eight (28) team members participated with everyone contributing to the winning team scores--Men, Women and Combined! Well done and a fantastic team turnout!
We had several "new to the meet scene" swimmers and they shined!!

The Post Meet Social was very well attended. Everyone was well fed and there was lots of friendly conversation, and several teams represented. More thank you's go out to everyone who helped set up for the social and brought goodies to share with the swimmers:

Feb 17 (Sunday) 1 Hour Postal Swim @ 8:00 a.m. at our pool. ($7 & USMS card)

Feb 18 (Monday) Lunch at Park Tavern after mid morning practice. There are lots of birthdays to celebrate!!
Mar 3 (Sunday) Distance meet at UMBC. This meet offers the 1650 & 500 FR and all the 100's and 200's of all strokes and 200, 400 IM. It also offers 3 relays: 400 F.R, 400 Med. R and the 800 FR R. This is a good opportunity to swim Top 10 Relays. The entry fees are reasonable. We may have a group of swimmers going. Please let me know if you'd like to go.
Mar 17 (Sunday) This is the last Mini-Series meet and it's at AOSC (Annapolis). The entry isn't open yet but stay tuned.

PS It also takes a husband, Bob, to make a couple trips out to the restaurant to pick up food. First the pizza for the timers, then back to get the lasagna for the social..... Then back and forth to home a couple of times to pick up stuff I forgot (swim suit, lunch, phone charger....... And walking the dog... all that stuff... so I could be with all of you ! Thanks Bob
