Well done to a good lot of you who participated in the Triple Crown. You all deserve a tiara, a diadem, a gold crown, or a couple of bottles of Gatorade to replenish. The third part of this event was no simple task and one that should not be repeated more frequently than once a year! (Well, that's my opinion.) Thank you Mike for managing all three parts. Thanks Nancy for the nourishment afterwards.
Jan. 21 Mini-Series @ AOSC warm-up begins at 3:15. Please register soon. Yes, it's the same time as the football games but keep your priorities straight!
Feb. 10 Mini-Series @ SPCC Registration is now open for our meet as well. This is a good starter meet for anyone that has not been in a meet yet.
Feb. 17 One Hour Postal swim at SPCC. Please email Glenn at firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to participate. This is a good opportunity to swim constant freestyle in preparation for the Bay.
On a further note: SPCC master swimmers who have not paid $20 team dues this year, please do so. There is a folder on the table on the pool deck or give to Sally or Susan Taylor. If you're not sure if you've sent your in, email Sally at email@example.com
CIRCLE swimming is a great thing! More people are coming to practice...wonderful!! The more the merrier! Thanks to everyone for staying patient and flexible as we all work together with new and old team mates on circle swimming. I really don't want anyone to feel like they don't fit in. Training together with circle swimming can increase your workout efforts, focus on times/sets, and turn a slightly unsocial sport, social.
I came across an article that holds a lot of truths....and it's kind of funny. Please read it when you have 3 extra minutes.
See you at the pool!
